There are magical hamlets within the shoreline communities here in Coastal CT. Are you intrigued?
If so then you need to meet a seasoned Real Estate Broker who can Buy or Sell Homes and at the same time architecturally sculpt and design your lifestyle.
Diana Hartman isn’t your average real estate broker at Williams Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty. This interior designer turned real estate pro offers a unique home buying experience to those looking to purchase along the coastline of Connecticut. Her services provided are more than just to help someone buy a home, she helps them see the potential of each property. “I can see what they can’t see,” she told me, explaining that she’s able to look at the bones of a home and show people what they can keep, what they can add, and approximately what it would all cost.
What makes Diana truly unique as a real estate broker is that she offers complimentary design counsel. If a client is buying or selling a home, she gives them her interior design services for free. Whether you’re looking to completely renovate a new purchase, redo a single room, or update the style, Diana can guide you through all the available options and then stick by your side while the work is being completed. It’ll have a finished look when she’s done with it, and that’s the difference.
Her experience began with a career in fashion in Manhattan. Her eye for style made her a natural at interior design, too. While living and working in New York city she’d often be asked to go to showings of apartments for her knowledge, advice, and guidance on what potential a property had and for ideas on what could be done to a space.
Today Diana is an active broker in both the Connecticut Shoreline and New York, Manhattan. When she was ready for a career change, naturally Diana looked to real estate. “I wanted to combine my design career with something else,” she told me. Now, 12 years later, she’s developed a strong reputation for helping people find their dream homes all along the Connecticut coast. “There is a friendliness and warmth here that’s amazing,” Hartman told me of coastal Connecticut. “It’s just wonderful living here and working with people here.”
It’s obvious that dealing with people is something she has a true gift for. Buying and designing a home can be a very personal experience, but Diana has the genuine demeanor and understanding needed to help people through it. She told me that for many couples the process can be very stressful and so she aims to take the stress out of the process and make it fun. She explained how she helps her clients envision the final product by showing them pictures, taking them to homes she has designed, and even going shopping with them. “I like to learn about the clients,” she told me, “and many of my clients end up being friends because it’s a very intimate procedure.”
When it comes to home decor style, she has a knack for mixing industrial and modern styles with a soft, warm mix. But, when it comes to her clients’ houses she is able to do any style. “I believe the home has to reflect the people,” she stated, which is why she takes such care to get to know each one of her clients. It’s important to Diana that her clients get their dream home, “that’s what makes me really happy,” she said, “I love what I do but what I really love is making people happy.”
The sum of all its parts on the CT Shoreline lies in the hands of seasoned and skilled Real Estate Agents, Contractors and Architects. She will make the process of either Buying or Selling an Enjoyable, Exciting and Seamless Experience.
