Upgrading your home doesn’t need to consist of a complete remodel or large budget. Innovative, do-it-yourself products make it easy for you to make small changes that will have a large impact.
“This week The House that Social Media Built is all about rocking the finishing touches and making everything pretty.” says Nicole White. “BENDER is excellent and is handling all bath fixtures, vanities, faucets, and tile for us.” It’s all about being happy where you live, and creating functional art throughout your home. Working with BENDER is like curating a museum, each piece is hand selected.
BENDER is a fourth generation family owned and operated company, born and raised in Connecticut. “We handle decorative plumbing, kitchen and bath cabinets, lighting, tile, and stone. The showrooms are like houses in real life and allow you to imagine, ‘is this me?’. “What we are doing helps people find peace in their home. If we dont feel good in our homes we are not happy people,” Nina Bender highlights.
“Being able to watch the votes flood in on a Monday morning is great!” says Kristen Kureczka, Marketing Director at BENDER. “We are really excited to be apart of this project. The concept of letting social media design a house and invite everyone to come see it, is brilliant. We couldn’t be more happy to be apart of The House that Social Media Built’s journey.”
Keeping up with the heartbeat of our state, BENDER has evolved into a retail purveyor of attainable luxury in decorative plumbing, kitchen and bath cabinetry, lighting, tile and stone. “To support local tradesmen, they also supply a wide range of HVAC and plumbing materials,” inputs Mike Riccio.
“They are the GLAM squad!”, says Nicole, “That’s why we chose them.” They have products that make your life a little easier too: pot fillers, coordinating strainers and disposal flanges, sidesprays, bar faucets, soap dispensers, filtered drinking water and hot-water systems.”
“We especially love working with The House that Social Media Built because they allow viewers to get a sense of our products in the actual spaces,” adds Kristen.
“BENDER is the best,” says Nicole, “They have locations throughout Connecticut in Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven, Norwalk, Stamford, Torrington, and Waterbury. It doesn’t get much more convienent than that.”
At BENDER showrooms, they marry function, budget and design to provide the right solution for their customers. In order to accomplish this they start with one central question: Why are you remodeling your space or building a new home? The answer to this question guides the process, so the products and design fit the needs of each individual using the space, resulting in homes people love to live in.
“We are officially on party build up,” say Mike, “Finishing the fourth House that Social Media Built is closer than we think.”
Mike and Nicole’s team is hustling around to put all the finishing touches on these transformative projects. The MAD house is GLOWING.
